Pink Ginger Flower Cafe in Exeter offers a relaxed spot for anyone looking to pause their day with thoughtfully crafted drinks and sweet treats. This cafe blends a casual vibe with a modern touch, making it a go-to place for locals who appreciate quality beyond the usual coffee run. It’s especially suited to mornings or early afternoons when natural light spills in through the windows and fills the space with a quiet, inviting energy.

The menu leans into carefully prepared beverages like matcha coffee and specialty lemonades, alongside a tempting selection of cakes and desserts such as cheesecake, chocolate cake, and roll cakes in flavors like strawberry and tiramisu. Those with dietary preferences will find oat milk as a standard supplement, highlighting the cafe’s attention to accommodating different tastes. The drinks carry subtle complexity—like a blueberry matcha latte that stands up well even against other places known for strong matcha—though prices can be on the higher side, reflecting the quality and care put into each cup.

Outdoor seating is available with comfortable chairs, although the street noise from Paris Street can be noticeable, offsetting some of the calm that the interior offers. Inside, there’s plenty of space spread over multiple floors, giving visitors room to settle in whether they’re catching up with friends or enjoying some solo time with a book or laptop. Service is friendly and personable, contributing to a feeling that this isn’t just a quick stop but a place where people actually take the time to savor their experience.

The atmosphere balances a welcoming openness with a subtle energy—perfect for both casual meetups and quiet moments. Its location near Exeter’s city centre means it naturally draws a mix of locals familiar with the neighborhood alongside visitors who appreciate quality specialist drinks. While there’s a communal ease to the spot, some practical notes include the limited accessibility of restrooms, which are found on the top floor, potentially an issue for those with mobility concerns.

Overall, Pink Ginger Flower Cafe fits well into daily local routines, offering a space where quality beverages and treats meet a thoughtfully designed setting. Fans of matcha and fruit-flavored refreshments, alongside those who lean towards engaging conversations or relaxed, slow coffee breaks, will find something to enjoy here.

Such an amazing experience. I and my friends went here while taking a break in Exeter. Everything was state of the art. We enjoyed it well. Amazing staff, very friendly and polite. And loved everything we received on the table. Very authentic!

The best cafe we've ever been too - in fact, it left such a great impression on us that we return all the time. Sometimes just even for a chat! We love them, we can't fault them and we highly recommend Pink Ginger for anyone! X

I’ve been here a couple times, and everytime i’ve had such a lovely experience. The food is always made with care and the flavours are absolutely divine. The service is impeccable and I highly recommend this place. The roll cakes (especially the strawberry and tiramisu flavours) are amazing!!

Popped in for a Matcha Latte. It was actually very nice. Easily on a par with others I have had. I had the blueberry Matcha with oat milk. I have knocked a star off because at £7 each it was rather expensive, but i guess the extra £1 for blueberry, and the extra 50p for oat milk did add up! They have some very comfy chair to sit on outside, but the road is a bit noisy. Overall, it was a very nice place to visit. The staff were very nice, and really seemed to care about the products they were serving. I would definitely visit again.

Delicious Thai tea - tasted as I remembered it! Was genuinely tempted to go back for another one since I drank it so quickly! Lovely friendly staff and nice calm atmosphere. Lots of space, since there are 2-3 floors, but be aware - the loo isn’t accessible to those with mobility issues. It’s on the top floor.

The loveliest cafe in Exeter with the best staff. The drinks and cakes are absolutely delicious and so pretty! I try something new every time and am never disappointed!! This time we tried cloud juice and watermelon iced green tea. I could always recommend the choux buns too, they are my favourite. Must visit!!

Have been wanting to try out this cafe, safe to say it did not disappoint! Finally a decent matcha latte in Exeter so I would highly recommend it. The pink lemonade was refreshing if you need a thirst quencher. They have a wide selection of cakes with Asian flavours such as Thai Tea, Earl Grey, Matcha and hojicha - all were delicious. Staffs were very friendly and the interior of the cafe was nice and cosy. Will be coming back here in the future
